Founded in 1992 as a regional office of the prestigious City of London-based law firm Sinclair Roche & Temperley, McGregor & Partners has since evolved into an independent firm with a strong presence in the region. The firm's managing partner, Neil McGregor, was the first resident expatriate lawyer in the regional office, which later merged with Stephenson Harwood in London. In 2004, McGregor & Partners became a fully independent firm with two partners, and in 2006, the Sofia office was established under the management of the third partner.

With a team consisting of five partners, sixteen other lawyers, and dedicated support staff, including officially-authorized legal translators, McGregor & Partners boasts a diverse and talented workforce.
