What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Give the junior people time and help to learn what the senior attorneys learned in their specialties. Don't expect perfection out of the gate and be more understanding if the work of juniors is not to the level of perfection demanded. More teaching and explaining why things are they way they are would help.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
Unerring client focus 24/7/365 in multiple states and abroad. Boutique focus on quality work with accommodating compensation arrangements for clients. No billable hour requirement but the work product must be flawless. Senior attorneys are highly educated and proficient in their specialties and fairly good at mentoring. The firm, while it presents a professional image, is not stuffy. People are very nice and usually willing to help others if needed.
What did you not like about this institution?
When a client matter is time-sensitive, senior attorneys can get short and overwork subordinates. They review all work before it goes out and grammar and punctuation have to be perfect. They are nitpickers on grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence structure, and clarity of the premise or argument made.

Technology is up-to-date. The staff is great to work with. Everyone is friendly. The environment is professional and innovative. It's a good experience.
What did you not like about this institution?
The work can be uninteresting at times. Be prepared to work a lot of hours. The pay isn't sufficient.
