The firm has shifted to a lockstep salary structure with each class level having set salaries, but individual assessments could lead to some deviation. The firm is a follower with respect to bonus amounts, and from 2009 through 2011 the firm paid market-level bonuses to associates who billed at least 1,950 hours. Goodwin Procter's starting salary ranges from $145,000 to $160,000, depending on the office.
