Overview

Our principal and managing attorney, Gabrielle A. Best Husband, grew up in the twin-island state of Trinidad and Tobago and earned her law degree at American University Washington College of Law. Raised on an island that boasts a multiplicity of races and ethnicities co-existing harmoniously in a shared space, Gabrielle is used to interacting with people who may not share her religious or cultural beliefs. That familiarity with and genuine comfort with cultural diversity enables her not only to interface easily with a broad and varied spectrum of clients but to zero in with no difficulty on often concealed or not immediately visible issues when she is negotiating on behalf of her client. Since acquiring her law license, Gabrielle has handled a range of civil litigation matters, including representing clients in domestic litigation and real estate matters.

Gabrielle’s desire to litigate is driven by her passion to counsel and to contribute in an immediate, direct way to the enhancement of individual lives. More importantly, Gabrielle wishes to partner with people in the committed pursuit of justice. Gabrielle has lived in Northern Virginia for several years and in her spare time she enjoys reading, running, and gardening.

G. Best Husband Law’s out-of-the-box approach highlights the importance of a focus on communication and service as opposed to billing. We understand that the fear of the unknown can be daunting, and we aim to help clients control what can be controlled. Our goal is to offer our clients certainty around billing and provide information during every step of the family law journey.
