Yukon Legal Services Society (YLSS) is Yukon’s legal aid service provider. If you need a lawyer but cannot afford to pay, we may be able to help by providing a lawyer at no cost or at a very low cost to you.
We are here to provide accessible, cost effective and professional legal services in criminal, family, child protection, mental health, and poverty law to eligible people throughout the Yukon. YLSS employs staff lawyers who work at four separate law offices and work with partners in the justice system to improve access to justice.
