Attorney Jonathan J. Davey founded Davey PC with a focus on civil and fiduciary litigation.

Our civil litigation experience includes premises liability, contract claims, and representing families against nursing homes & assisted living centers. Whether through an insurance negotiation, complex discovery, multi-day jury trial, or by obtaining a real estate attachment, Davey PC has had the opportunity to zealously represent clients in civil matters throughout Massachusetts.

Attorney Davey has served as a fiduciary in 1000+ matters, including conservatorships, trusteeships and as the personal representative to estates. Our fiduciary appointments include litigating matters in the civil division of District & Superior Courts, Federal Bankruptcy Court, Housing Court, Land Court, and state-agency appeals under MGL c. 30A. The Probate Court’s throughout the Commonwealth routinely entrust this office in protecting elder’s assets via conservatorships. We have built relationships with protective services organizations, district attorneys, and the Veterans Administration in battling elder financial exploitation.

Our success in Medicaid Long Term Care planning results in the overturning of up to 60+ denials per year through appeals to the Medicaid Board of Hearings and 30A Judicial Reviews in Superior Court. In addition, we have secured Medicaid or MassHealth benefits for several hundred clients, which speaks to our near-perfect success rate in this field. Davey PC dedicates approximately 15% of its Medicaid planning work as community pro-bono services to elders in-need. Attorney Davey has been invited to speak at elder law conferences and university courses based on Davey PC's reputation in this field.
