Fast paced, challenging, and rewarding law firm on May 19, 2024 - Current Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Current Employee

Advice to law firm management:
As the environment is demanding so achieving deadlines can be challenging. You need to work hard in order to please your supervisors at this firm.

Pros:
The time I spent at Perkins Coie LLP was characterized by an enormous amount of learning and hard work for exceptional managers and clients. I was continually challenged to stretch into new roles and felt valued by leaders. The Management expects the best but they compensate accordingly and provide benefits on par with that. So I must say that excellent pay and excellent benefits.

Cons:
The work is demanding and considers necessary trade-offs with other priorities. Work culture is very professional and sometimes the most mundane tasks are like complying with law.

This Firm is Decent on May 19, 2024 - Current Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Advice to law firm management:
This firm should get rid of early Fridays and have more consistent hours during the week so employees don't feel burnt out.

Pros:
This firm has a fun atmosphere and people get along really well. I also like that every week we get out of work early so we can see our family and friends.

Cons:
The issue with getting out early on Fridays is that the rest of the week is usually very busy. Some days we work more than 12 hours and I am simply exhausted when I come home. I like the early day but would rather have a more consistent work week.

Great Work Environment on May 19, 2024 - Current Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Current Employee

Advice to law firm management:
I would like to see our current management team revised with possibly some new replacements to be available to take care of issues that arise in the office.

Pros:
The work environment is excellent as everyone is very helpful and experienced. The benefits are awesome as well and everyone really cares about their clients.

Cons:
I have found the firm to be somewhat slow in terms of how quickly they resolve issues that are occurring around the office. I have found this to be mostly related to our current management team though.

Self serving lawyer on May 19, 2024 - Current Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Intern Current Employee

Advice to law firm management:
She makes false claims for personal advance. Her military career is marred with excusal requests from training and baseless harassment claims. PC has an "inclusion" vision and will keep people like her because of gender and race rather than skillset. She will get people fired for her own benefit. Be careful around her and always have a witness during conversations.

Pros:
