What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Marketing has improved the visibility of the firm beyond its top reputation with other lawyers and judges, but more can be done to reach the general public, as the firm's next generation of lawyers is moving up and becoming more prominent.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
Very smart lawyers and staff, performing high-end, sophisticated work. Low turnover among the lawyers and staff. Good teamwork. Collegial office environment in which management takes care of its personnel and the more experienced lawyers mentor the younger ones. In over ten years practicing here, I cannot remember a time when I asked for help in solving a client's problem and did not receive the time and attention from anyone in the firm whom I asked to work or think on it with me.

What did you not like about this institution?
These lawyers are not inexpensive, but their knowledge and experience makes them very efficient, so that the work by Lowe Stein can cost less than if it were instead performed by lesser attorneys, at lower rates, although mundane or routine work can sometimes cost more.

Provide better pay and benefits and offer more room to grow within the firm.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
They have a decent variety of practice areas. Lawyers are experienced and professional. The firm has an international reputation. I enjoy all the people I work with.

What did you not like about this institution?
The pay and benefits are not that great. There is not much opportunity for advancement.

Don't be afraid to ask questions and raise your concerns, they will definitely listen to you and help out however they can.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
If you have any problems or issues with your work, they will do everything they can to help you. Extensive resources for reference are available.

What did you not like about this institution?
The overtime hours can be demanding but they are compensated well. If you put in the time, they will reward you.
