The firm was organized on February 1, 1987, under the name of Goytisolo & Sáez. In July of 1991, Messrs. Jose E. Martinez and Renaldy J. Gutierrez joined the firm as counsel, and became name partners in September 1992 (later to be known as Martinez & Gutierrez). In September 2002, as a result of Mr. Martinez’s judicial appointment to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the firm was renamed Gutierrez & Associates. The firm is “av” rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
