What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
It would be great if more trust was placed in the junior associates and support. It's always great to have feedback from the top pros but people need to have room to make decisions for themselves sometimes.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
While a relatively young and small firm, it's filled with lawyers who have enough experience and accolades to make your head spin. I'm very pleased with the cases and people I work with and even after years I'm constantly learning.

What did you not like about this institution?
The firm shares the same problem a lot of similar sized outfits have in that the higher ups can involve themselves in every step of every process. This can be useful of course but also can rub some people the wrong way.

You have people with great skills, the knowledge to back it up and the drive to want to succeed, so find a way for them to move up and stay with the firm.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
They truly care about their employees and want everyone to be happy and don't want drama issues. There is a relaxed family type environment with a lot of helpful staff and coworkers. The benefits are fantastic.

What did you not like about this institution?
There is not a lot of opportunity to move to a new position internally and advance your career there. They don't pay as well as some other places, even though the benefits are very good.

Make sure to reassure people that it is okay to enjoy their work and to work on any issues that pop up for new people.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The rule here is to always enjoy what you are doing and to be happy with life no matter what.

What did you not like about this institution?
Some people are overly serious and take a while to fit in with the more relaxed nature of this firm compared to everything else in their past.
