Supervising Attorney / Attorney 5 The candidate will have trial experience, including the ability to analyze complex fact patterns, direct investigations, analyze scientific evidence, engage in extensive motion practice, and present evidence effectively in court. A JD Degree from an ABA accredited university is required, as well as bar licensure in Alaska or the ability to become licensed through reciprocity.
Criminal The candidate will provide court-appointed legal representation to indigent individuals in criminal cases. Must possess outstanding writing and analytical skills and be able to work independently to research and compose legal briefs as well as possess strong oral advocacy skills. Must have admission to the Alaska Bar, be willing to sit for the next Alaska Bar exam, or be eligible for Bar admission by reciprocity. Prior legal experience preferred.
