Job Title: Manager or Senior Manager - Korean Corporate Tax Practice

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and S-corporations, catering to a range of clients from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses.
- Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team to offer industry knowledge and experiences.
- Manage a portfolio of clients with varying sizes and scopes, serving as the primary point of contact for both internal and external clients.
- Lead teams of tax professionals and assistants in client projects.
- Advise clients and ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services and advice.
- Participate in and contribute to market and business activities outside the company.
- For Senior Manager, additional responsibilities include managing risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets; teaming with other professionals to identify new marketplace opportunities and expand the company's tax practice.

Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm is required.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is necessary.
- Candidates must possess a licensed CPA, JD/LLM, or EA, or another credential from the company's approved list. If a candidate does not have at least one of these credentials at the time of employment, they have one year from their hire date to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 is essential.
- Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships is required.
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams is necessary.
- Fluency in both English and Korean is required.
- For the Senior Manager position, a minimum of eight years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm is required.
- Experience in mentoring and counseling staff-level team members is needed.

Salary Information:
- KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and market considerations.
- The California Salary Range is $135,700 - $273,400.
