A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly qualified mid-level Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in project development and/or finance to join its Project Development & Finance Practice group. Location:

  • San Diego, CA

Duties:

  • Work on project finance transactions, including advising on the financing and development of infrastructure and energy projects.
  • Assist in structuring, negotiating, and documenting financing arrangements.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on project development matters.
  • Conduct due diligence, prepare transaction documents, and manage project finance-related tasks.
  • Assist in structuring and negotiating complex project financing agreements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project development and/or finance.
  • Strong background in finance transactions, with a focus on infrastructure, energy, or related industries.
  • Experience gained at a large national or international firm preferred.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant state or jurisdiction.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state where the associate will be located.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of project development and project finance law.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Client-focused with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
