A law firm in Battle Ground, WA, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated General Liability Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in legal analysis, extensive research, client representation, and trial preparation. The position requires a proactive and self-motivated individual with strong analytical, research, and communication skills.

Job Details:

• Conduct legal analysis of claims and causes of action.
• Engage in extensive legal research and draft status reports, analyses for clients, substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
• Regularly represent clients at hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests to support legal proceedings.
• Collaborate on expert witness retention and coordination efforts.
• Prepare thoroughly for trials and attend as required.
• Some travel may be necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Maintain a 1900 billable hour target.

Requirements:

• . degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Admitted to practice in the states of Washington and/or Oregon; admission in other states such as Idaho or Utah, is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in civil litigation.
• Experience with property damage, bodily injury, or trucking cases is a plus.
