LAWV is seeking a skilled and motivated attorney to join our organization in the Wheeling office. The selected candidate will work closely with local domestic violence programs and participate in outreach programs to provide legal services to clients facing domestic violence and other legal issues.

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal services to victims of domestic violence, primarily in family law but also in other legal areas such as housing, benefits, and self-sufficiency barriers.
- Work closely with local domestic violence programs and participate in outreach programs.
- Engage in client-centered advocacy with frequent litigation.
- Use office technologies, including learning LAWV case management software.
- Balance administrative and client advocacy responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable commitment to understanding and addressing issues of low-income constituents.
- . and admission to practice in West Virginia in good standing, or eligibility for admission under West Virginia Supreme Court Rule 9 if admitted in another state, or eligibility to take the next regularly scheduled West Virginia Bar Exam.
- Skills to use office technologies, including learning LAWV case management software.
- Ability to balance administrative and client advocacy responsibilities.
Salary: $53,000 - $61,400
