Manager, Tax Legal Business Associate - Tax Technology Consulting
**Job Responsibilities**
As a Legal Technology Manager, the core responsibilities include:
- Client Management: Oversee daily interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
- Delivery: Collaborate with a team to optimize legal processes by aligning legal software with client-specific requirements and goals.
- Solutions: Design and implement technology and innovative solutions to address legal department needs.
- Support: Provide training related to processes, technologies, or situational changes.
- Cross Functional Teaming: Understand and articulate broader practice and maintain holistic client relationships.
- People Development: Act as a counselor and coach, participate in staffing and retention activities.
- Business Development: Develop and maintain contacts, lead pursuit teams, and contribute to business development.
**Education and Experience Information**
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience with legal and/or technology solutions
- Experience with at least one of the following:
- Implementation experience with Agiloft, SirionOne, Icertis, or other CLM (contract lifecycle management) software
- Document extraction tools, data wrangling tools like Alteryx, visualization/BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
- DocuSign CLM or Salesforce configuration
- Ability to travel up to 50%, depending on work and client/industry sector
- One of the following active accreditations:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible
- If not CPA eligible: Licensed Attorney (or foreign equivalent), Enrolled Agent, PMP, CCM, CFA, PMI-ACP, CCMP, CBAP, or other relevant certifications
- Preferred:
- Advanced Degree in related fields
- Experience with template rationalization, harmonization, and design of contracting processes
**Salary Information**
The wage range for this role is from $108,430 to $246,870, considering various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, and other business needs. It is noted that it is not typical for a new hire to be at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions are based on individual circumstances. There may also be eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to performance factors.
**Additional Information**
The position requires a hybrid work model with US Tax professionals expected to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
