Job Title: Lead Counsel, Monetization (Ads)

Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze global products, features, and initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
- Offer legal advice to product, engineering, and other business teams on consumer protection laws, data protection laws and regulations, and other global legal frameworks.
- Manage high-profile and impactful projects involving legal analysis and compliance with cross-functional stakeholders across the company's business, policy, legal, communications, security, and other teams.

Education and Experience Information:
- . degree (or foreign equivalent) required.
- Active membership in at least one US state bar and eligibility to obtain registered in-house counsel status if required by the State Bar in the assigned work location.
- A minimum of 5 years of legal experience as a practicing attorney, which may include experience at a law firm, in-house, or government role.
- Demonstrated business judgment and client counseling skills, along with effective communication skills.
- Experience in areas such as product or regulatory counseling, privacy, or data protection.

- Experience working independently and cross-functionally.
- Ability to prioritize work and provide advice in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $198,000/year to $266,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
- Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, or sales incentives, where applicable.
