Junior Litigation Attorney The candidate will create relationships with clients and guide them through the litigation process. Work with clients and medical providers regarding medical treatment. Work with opposing counsel and the court system. Research case law, statutes, jury verdicts, etc. Prepare Demands, Motions, Discovery, Disclosures, etc. Participate in Mediations, Depositions and Trials. Should have 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a personal injury attorney with a working knowledge of personal injury law in Colorado strongly preferred. Must possess strong written, analytical, and organizational skills (fluent in written and spoken English). Professional Writing Skills: able to draft professional documents that are free of grammar and spelling mistakes. Excellent People Skills: able to deal empathetically with clients who are injured and scared, while still maintaining professionalism. Must be aware of and sensitive to cultural differences. Competent Computer Skills: able to learn new programs quickly and accurately. Needles database experience is a plus. Strong Critical Thinking Skills: able to problem solve, follow instructions, be creative, use discretion, ask questions when necessary and be detail oriented. Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask. Must be able to work as part of a team. Must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
