Duties
- Advise clients by evaluating options and planning a course of action.
- Manage administrative staff for client invoicing and meeting arrangements.
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients.
- Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
- Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff.
- Brief and argue dispositive and discovery motions, and prepare for trials.
Requirements
- Able to work independently while managing multiple files.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a law firm environment.
- Strong decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis.
Education
- Juris Doctorate (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
Skills
- Excellent writing and research skills.
- Comfortable taking depositions and conducting examinations at trial.
