A highly respected and fully remote California-based law firm is seeking a skilled Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join its team. This firm provides comprehensive litigation defense services to a wide range of clients, including insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and employers. The ideal candidate will manage cases from inception through resolution and thrive in a fully virtual, team-oriented environment.

Represent clients in all phases of workers’ compensation defense litigation
Handle case files from assignment through settlement or trial
Attend depositions, hearings, and other litigation-related appearances (virtually or in person as required)
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and reports
Negotiate settlements and attend mediations
Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and strategic guidance
Collaborate with legal staff and fellow attorneys to ensure effective and timely case management
Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing
Experience in workers’ compensation defense preferred
Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational abilities
Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
California Bar License (required)
Proficient in workers’ compensation law and procedures
Strong written and verbal communication
Skilled in legal research, negotiation, and litigation strategy
Capable of managing a full caseload remotely
