Job Title: Assistant General Counsel – Contracting
Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant General Counsel for Contracting at the company will be responsible for providing legal counsel related to complex contracting matters. This includes handling vendor, provider network, producer/customer, and strategic sourcing contracts. The successful candidate will operate in a dynamic legal and technological setting, offering sound and actionable legal advice on regulatory, business, and operational issues. The individual will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, assisting in the development of adaptive strategies to support the company's established business frameworks and promote its growth. The role involves advancing the company's mission to expand access to quality, cost-effective health care services. The position requires in-office presence three days a week at one of the specified office locations.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor Degree and a license to practice law in the state where the legal department is located are mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney after obtaining a law degree is required.
- Preferred candidates will have knowledge or understanding of the healthcare, health insurance, or claim administration fields, along with over 3 years of experience advising providers, insurers, or other healthcare entities.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
Salary Information:
The compensation range for this position is $118, to $220,, with exact compensation possibly varying based on skills, experience, and location.
