Job Title: Senior, International Tax (Investment Management)
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Consultant, the candidate will be part of an engagement team specializing in providing tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse range of clients in the private equity and investment management sectors. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing the tax implications of clients' inbound and outbound structures and investments.
- Identifying basic and complex tax issues and providing tax analysis and recommendations for entities and their affiliates.
- Preparing and reviewing work papers, allocations, and tax returns for partnerships and corporations.
- Conducting research and preparing materials for consulting projects related to tax planning considerations, including structure reports, transaction step plans, and memoranda.
- Assisting in developing complex tax projection calculations and models to analyze tax structuring alternatives and planning opportunities.
- Utilizing proprietary technologies to assist clients in streamlining their tax compliance processes and filing obligations.
- Supervising less experienced tax consultants.
Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing tax planning and/or compliance services.
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field.
- Capability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, necessitating in-person co-location 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel 25% on average, depending on the work, clients, and industries/sectors served.
- Possession of one of the following active accreditations, or the willingness to obtain one:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible, a licensed attorney or enrolled agent.
Preferred:
- Previous experience with a Big 4 firm.
- Experience with partnership, funds, and/or international taxation.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers a broad spectrum of factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate, which does not account for geographic differentials, is $73,500 to $161,200. Typically, hires are not made at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.
