Job Title: Tax Director - Private Companies

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Director within the company, you will be part of a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues ranging from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 8 years
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge and/or a proven record of success in assisting companies to understand and assess the tax impact of company business, operations, and transactions in multiple jurisdictions, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, law firm, or corporate tax department of a multinational company.
- Applying deep understanding of tax compliance and consulting for various entities, including corporations, partnerships, pass-through entities, and Subchapter S corporations.
- Demonstrating technical prowess with ASC740.
- Identifying and addressing client needs and developing and sustaining client relationships.
- Using networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities.
- Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials.
- Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection.
- Leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction, and motivate members.
- Creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, coaching staff, and encouraging improvement and innovation.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $140,900 - $434,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
