Job Title: Spring Internship

Job Responsibilities:
Interns participating in the organization’s Spring Internship program will gain exposure to the legislative branch of government. They will be actively involved in the daily operations of both district and Washington, . congressional offices. The tasks assigned to the interns will include, but are not limited to:

- Handling phone duties
- Conducting legislative research
- Providing Capitol tours
- Attending committee meetings and seminars
- Answering mail
- Updating computer records
- Running errands
- Offering general assistance to staff to help maintain smooth office operations

Education and Experience Information:
The internship program is open to students who are interested in learning about the legislative process. Interns must provide their own housing as the position is unpaid. The program accepts applications from:

- Full-time students
- Part-time students
- Individuals not currently employed

Interns who wish to receive academic credit for their participation are responsible for managing their specific program requirements. The organization will supply necessary documentation for credit upon request.

Applicants should indicate their current educational level, such as:

- Freshman
- Sophomore
- Junior
- Senior
- Graduate student

Skills in computer software and languages are also considered, with applicants being asked to specify their level of proficiency in any additional languages.

Salary Information:
