The role demands substantial litigation experience and excellent legal skills. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to enhance community visibility, awareness, and collaboration. Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity, good judgment, initiative, and a willingness to work collaboratively. An understanding of and commitment to anti-bias principles, cultural competency, and addressing systemic racism and other forms of oppression is crucial. There is a hiring preference for candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and/or another language and who are members of the Oregon State Bar.
