Job Title: AI Back-End Software Engineer, Manager - Tax Transformation

Job Responsibilities:
As an AI Back-End Software Engineer, Manager in the Tax Transformation team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, debugging, testing, deploying, and supporting of custom applications and modules that meet business requirements. Key responsibilities include:

- Leading requirements analysis and collaborating with US colleagues and vendor teams to produce software design and architecture.
- Writing clean and scalable code using programming languages.
- Testing and deploying applications and systems.
- Revising, updating, refactoring, and debugging code to ensure quality and low bug rates of code released into production.
- Developing, supporting, and maintaining applications and technology solutions.
- Ensuring all development efforts meet or exceed client expectations, adhering to defined standards.
- Guiding and mentoring junior developers in the use of development and testing tools, methodologies, and processes.
- Becoming familiar with project management methodology and processes.
- Encouraging collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on-shore and off-shore team members.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of industry best standards in software development and version controlling.
- Working on agile projects, participating in daily SCRUM calls, and providing task updates.

Education and Experience Information:
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2–3 days per week.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience leading technical delivery teams with strong hands-on experience in C#, SQL Server, OOPS Concepts, Micro Services Architecture.
- Demonstrated experience with Core, Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL, Entity Framework 6 or above, Azure, Database performance tuning, Applying Design Patterns, and Agile.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on work and clients served.
- Limited sponsorship may be available.
- One of the following active accreditations:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks: Familiarity with Python libraries (., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), or ML libraries.
- Cloud AI Services: Hands-on experience using cloud-based AI tools (., Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker).
- AI Solution Architecture: Ability to design back-end systems that integrate AI models or algorithms with core business applications.
- Understanding of AI Concepts: Knowledge of NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, and common machine learning algorithms.
- Collaboration with Data Scientists: Ability to work collaboratively with data scientists to translate business needs into AI solutions.
- Knowledge on Angular, Mongo DB, NPM, and Azure DevOps Build/Release configuration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong listening, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role takes into account various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $119,490 to $272,090. Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, where an award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
