DLA Piper's Intellectual Property and Technology group is seeking exceptional 2L candidates to join our 2026 summer program in various locations across the United States, including Boston, Philadelphia, Palo Alto, San Diego, Seattle, and Washington, DC.
As a summer associate in our Patent Development subgroup, you will have the opportunity to work on trials, appeals, and counseling, as well as participate in pro bono opportunities. Our 10-week program offers in-depth training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to prepare you for a future career at **Members Only**

Key Responsibilities:
- Work on trials, appeals, and counseling in the Patent Development subgroup
- Participate in pro bono opportunities
- Receive in-depth training and mentorship

Qualifications:
- Completion of four semesters of law school prior to the start of the summer program
- Demonstrated interest in intellectual property
- Background or education in science preferred

Salary Information:
- In accordance with Washington and California's Pay Transparency Law, the weekly pay for this position is currently expected to be $4,326.
Experience Level:
- Law students with a background or education in science preferred
