Duties

• Draft wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents tailored to client needs.
• Advise clients on probate and estate administration processes.
• Provide legal guidance on elder law issues, including Medicaid planning and guardianships.
• Represent clients in estate and probate court proceedings as needed.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized solutions to estate planning goals.
• Stay current on laws and regulations related to elder law and estate planning.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Washington (mandatory).
• Demonstrated experience in estate planning and elder law.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing cases independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA).

Skills

• Expertise in wills, trusts, and probate law.
• Familiarity with elder law issues, including Medicaid planning.
