Criminal Law Attorney The candidate will perform legal research, drafting documents, appearing in court, and keeping clients up to date. Represent clients facing a variety of difficulties in our legal system. Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action. Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings. Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs. Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies. Resolve cases efficiently by using effective and persuasive communication with the assistance of your paralegal and senior attorneys. Juris Doctorate (.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for 2+ years of experience is a plus, First Chair trial experience is required. Experience in a Public Defender or District Attorney's Office is preferred. Member in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Association is required.
