A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with expertise in wage and hour litigation to join their team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling class and PAGA actions, demonstrating strong litigation skills and a commitment to client service.

Duties

• Defend class and PAGA claims in state and federal courts.
• Conduct document and data reviews related to wage and hour claims.
• Prepare case evaluations for clients on class/PAGA actions.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests in class/PAGA matters.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Engage in law and motion work, including arbitration and dispositive motions.
• Prepare for and attend mediations, including drafting mediation briefs.
• Attend court hearings and argue dispositive motions.
• Participate in arbitration and/or trial proceedings.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in the State of California.
• 3-7 years of experience in wage and hour litigation.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• California State Bar admission.
