A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Atlanta, GA, office as a key member of a fast-paced Payments & Fintech practice group, supporting innovative financial-technology and digital-payments clients.
Duties
Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements for payment processors, digital-wallet platforms, and fintech solutions
Advise on outsourcing arrangements, technology-licensing deals, and related service-provider contracts
Partner with regulatory and compliance specialists to address evolving payments industry requirements
Coordinate with product, IT, and risk teams to align legal strategies with business objectives
Oversee multiple high-priority projects, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met
Requirements
3+ years of transactional experience, preferably in fintech, payment systems, or technology licensing
Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial contracts in the technology or financial services sectors
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Capacity to juggle concurrent matters in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
Self-starter with strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities
Education
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications
Active admission to the Georgia State Bar
