Job Title: Associate Sales Executive, GLLF
Job Responsibilities:
The Associate Sales Executive is tasked with leveraging a consultative sales approach to manage complex relationships and capitalize on opportunities within Global Large Law accounts. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving Results: Identifying the best channels for customer engagement, primarily utilizing virtual methods for deals with insufficient value to justify travel. Supporting the development and execution of territory growth strategies.
- Closing: Prospecting new customers, validating their needs, shaping product plans, and assisting other Sales Executives in setting up demos.
- Relationship Management: Focusing on acquiring new logos and mid-contract upsell/cross-sell opportunities and renewals. Obtaining feedback from attorneys within client firms on product usage to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Product Proposition: Possessing core knowledge across products within the sub-segment and engaging Solutions Consultants when deep product expertise is required to finalize deals.
- Reporting: Utilizing an automated and insight-driven Salesforce workflow to progress deals. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include the number of appointments set, total revenue from closed deals, minimizing lead response time, and tracking qualifying data in Salesforce to properly score leads.
- Client & Market Intelligence: Understanding specific customer archetypes and needs prevalent within the sub-segment and territory.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Associate Sales Executive position should have the following qualifications and experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience in a consultative selling environment.
- A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience is required, with a JD preferred.
- Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
- Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation.
- Excellent communication and closing skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Internet.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce is desired, and the ability to utilize Sales Engagement would be beneficial.
- While knowledge and background in the legal profession are helpful, they are not required.
- High level of competency in internet, periodical, and internal prospecting.
- Proficient database management skills.
Salary Information:
The target total cash compensation range for the Associate Sales Executive role varies across locations. For eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range is $73,850 - $137,150. This range includes both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors, including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program, which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
