Indirect Unclaimed Property and Escheat Services Tax Manager

As an Indirect Unclaimed Property and Escheat Services Tax Manager, you'll have the opportunity to contribute your technical expertise and experience to identify risks and sustainable planning opportunities for our clients. Your key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in client consultations and challenging the unclaimed property and escheat approach for optimal effectiveness.
- Developing strong relationships with clients and effectively teaming with internal resources.
- Coaching and developing junior members of the team.
- Implementing extensive knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements.
- Staying informed of current technical developments and applying knowledge to client situations.
- Thoroughly and accurately analyzing information and arriving at appropriate conclusions.
- Participating in and contributing to achieving team goals.
To qualify for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience, as well as technical expertise and experience related to compliance, audit defense, and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services. A CPA certification, membership in the US Bar, or a professional designation from the IPT is also required. Additionally, you should have performance and process advisory experience related to unclaimed property compliance, broad exposure to state and local taxation, and excellent managerial, organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Willingness to travel and work in a balanced hybrid environment is also necessary.
Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 5 years of relevant unclaimed property consulting experience within a professional services environment.
