Job Title: Director of Sourcing & Contract Management
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing sourcing and contracting organization to execute complex third-party engagements across diverse categories and business stakeholders.
- Oversee and optimize a hybrid delivery model, including governance of an offshore partner, ensuring the integrated team operates as a single, outcomes-driven unit.
- Serve as a key driver of the Procurement Operating Model transformation, helping to industrialize sourcing and contracting processes while elevating service levels and throughput.
- Establish and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships, particularly with Category Management, the Procurement Center for Enablement, Finance, Legal, Risk, and the Procure-to-Pay team.
- Embed sourcing best practices that balance speed, compliance, and total value delivery to enable faster time-to-contract and consistent commercial terms across the enterprise.
- Institutionalize contract lifecycle management practices to improve visibility, renewals, risk mitigation, and performance tracking.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, automation, and metric-based governance.
- Develop talent across the team, fostering a culture of performance, ownership, and continuous learning.
Education and Experience Information:
- Required: Bachelor's degree.
- Proven track record in leading sourcing and/or contract management functions in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Deep experience with outsourced delivery models, with direct accountability for managing third-party partners.
- Experience with procurement technologies such as SpendHQ, Coupa, and Icertis platforms, and digital workflows.
- Expertise in procurement operations, process improvement, and commercial negotiation.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, risk allocation, and cross-functional contracting norms.
- Adept at cross-functional collaboration and influencing without authority, particularly across Legal, Finance, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Executive presence with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Preferred: Healthcare/health insurance industry experience.
- Preferred: Advanced degree or professional certification such as JD, CPSM, CIPS.
Salary Information:
- The compensation range for this position is estimated to be between $150,000 - $206,300 per year.
- This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
Additional Information:
- The role is available in multiple remote locations including Kentucky, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
- The workstyle for this role is hybrid, with options for office presence in Louisville, KY, Reston, VA, or NYC three days a week when not traveling.
- Travel may be required for leadership meetings, supplier site visits, etc.
- Work at Home Guidance specifies minimum internet speed requirements and conditions for dedicated workspace.
