Job Title: 2026 Rocky Mountain Regional Clerkship
Job Responsibilities:
The Rocky Mountain Regional Clerkship involves working with the Rocky Mountain Office, which focuses on environmental issues in Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. The primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting legal and factual research
- Drafting memoranda and court pleadings
- Assisting attorneys with tasks such as client interactions and oral argument preparation
- Participating in summer events coordinated by the Rocky Mountain Office to form professional connections
- Working on case development and litigation strategy
- Drafting pleadings and briefs

- Attending client meetings and court proceedings
- Participating in programmatic offerings such as seminars on current environmental issues and job interview workshops
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must be enrolled in a . law school through fall 2026 and be available to commit ten weeks during summer 2026. Candidates are expected to work from the . during their clerkship. The position is open to law students from across the country, and applicants should demonstrate core legal research, writing, and advocacy skills. A demonstrated interest in and capacity for deploying emotional intelligence and cultural competency in their work is also valued.
Salary Information:
The summer law clerkships are paid positions. **Members Only** will provide a one-time stipend at the start of the clerkship in the amount of $1, per week, minus the total amount received from any other sources and applicable taxes. The clerkship is designed to be 10 weeks long at full-time hours ( hours/week). Candidates are welcome to pursue outside funding, which will not be considered as part of the hiring process.

Each litigation team at **Members Only** participates in clerk hiring, and candidates may submit applications to multiple teams. Finalists will be asked to submit two references.
