Location:
Duties:
- Provide legal representation in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and support issues
- Manage a caseload of family law cases from intake through resolution
- Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediations
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates and answer questions
- Maintain and manage client relationships with professionalism and compassion
- Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys and support staff
- Take on increasing responsibility for managing cases independently
- Participate in firm activities and contribute to business development efforts
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, ideally with some background in family law
- Courtroom experience, with a solid understanding of family law proceedings
- Member in good standing with the Missouri Bar
- Strong client relationship skills with an engaging and confident demeanor
- Excellent legal writing and communication skills
- Highly organized, able to handle a diverse caseload
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- A passion for family law and a desire to grow within the firm
Education:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Missouri (Required)
