A reputable family law firm in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney. The firm specializes in complex family law cases, including divorce, child custody, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and high-asset cases. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of family law, with a focus on high-net-worth cases and client-centric solutions. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, including conducting research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court and during mediation.

Duties

• Communicate effectively with clients throughout their cases
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
• Handle discovery processes and prepare evidence for trial
• Represent clients by arguing motions in court
• Attend and lead mediations and depositions
• Analyze case details, develop strategies, and identify the most effective solutions for clients

Requirements

• Minimum 3-7 years of experience in family law, with direct client interaction
• Experience in high-asset family law cases is preferred
• Familiarity with the family law court system is beneficial
• Strong legal writing and communication skills
• Experience managing a full caseload and working autonomously
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other attorneys

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia
