Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation defense matters
Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and court proceedings
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement documents
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and claims adjusters
Handle all aspects of case management from inception to resolution
Attend mandatory settlement conferences and trials
Maintain compliance with all legal and procedural deadlines
Minimum of 2 years of experience in California workers' compensation defense
Experience working with self-insured employers and public entities preferred
Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic caseload
Strong communication and organizational skills
Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school
Active and in-good-standing license to practice law in California
Proficient in case management and legal strategy development
Familiarity with California workers' compensation laws and procedures
Comfortable working in a paperless office environment
Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced legal setting
Strong writing and negotiation abilities
