A reputable personal injury law firm in Southern California is seeking an experienced and results-driven Trial Attorney to join its litigation team in Irvine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex personal injury cases from inception to verdict and possess a proven record of courtroom success. This is a prime opportunity for a driven litigator to take ownership of a full trial caseload while working within a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Location:

  • Irvine, California

Duties:

  • Lead all phases of personal injury litigation, from case intake and pre-trial preparation through trial and appeal

  • Develop and implement strategic litigation plans tailored to each case

  • Draft and review complex pleadings, motions, trial briefs, and appellate documents

  • Conduct and defend depositions, including depositions of Persons Most Knowledgeable (PMKs)

  • Represent clients at court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations

  • Conduct client interviews, witness preparation, and evidence gathering

  • Work collaboratively with legal staff to refine legal theories, prepare exhibits, and organize trial materials

  • Stay current on developments in personal injury law, case law updates, and industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Experience in personal injury litigation

  • Demonstrated courtroom experience and trial success

  • Prior experience handling a diverse caseload independently

  • Must be able to manage high-stakes cases in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong client communication and case management abilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the State Bar of California

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking abilities

  • High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple deadlines

  • Comfortable managing large caseloads with minimal supervision

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
