Job Title: Tax Director - Private Companies

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Director within the company, you will play an integral role in assisting private companies with a multitude of business advisory needs. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire business lifecycle, from inception through growth, maturity, and transition. You will:

You will also be at the forefront of providing innovative tax advisory services, adopting a practical and holistic approach to meet the unique needs of private companies and their owners. This role requires navigating complex transactions that demand a sophisticated level of technical knowledge, specialization, and industry insights.

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 8 years

Certification(s) Required:
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Thought leader-level knowledge and/or a proven record of success in assisting companies to understand and assess the tax impact of business operations and transactions in multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience with a global network of professional services firms, law firms, or the corporate tax department of a multinational company is preferred.
- Deep understanding of tax compliance and consulting for various entities, including corporations, partnerships, pass-through entities, and Subchapter S corporations.
- Demonstrated technical prowess with ASC740.
- Capabilities in identifying and addressing client needs, developing and sustaining client relationships.
- Skills in networking, negotiation, and persuasion to identify and sell potential new service opportunities.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials.
- Ability to define resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection.
- Leadership skills to generate a vision, establish direction, and motivate team members.
- Capability to create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is between $140,900 and $434,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. The actual compensation within this range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
