Job Title: Asset & Wealth Management - Renewable Energy Tax Senior Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Work within the Financial Services Tax practice to assist clients in managing their tax obligations and understanding the impact of tax on their business.
- Advise clients on local and international tax affairs while acting as a strategic consultant for business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners.
- Help organizations understand pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, and provide advice on tax implications of deals.
- Assist Financial Services clients in navigating the complex national and international tax environment, focusing on capital requirements, operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions.
- Provide tax structuring support and address challenges in the changing tax landscape, both locally and globally.
- Collaborate as part of a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues from strategy to execution.
- Encourage team participation and invite opinions from all, including quieter team members.
- Address ambiguous and unstructured problems effectively.
- Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.
- Balance big picture thinking with managing relevant detail.
- Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop potential solutions proactively.
- Contribute technical knowledge in specialized areas.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with some of the world's largest renewable energy companies to develop and implement innovative tax solutions.
- Help clients address challenges introduced by the Inflation Reduction Act.
- Lead as technology-enabled tax advisors, providing value through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies.
- Provide unparalleled technical knowledge, specialization, and industry insights.
Education and Experience Information:
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years.
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for the opportunity.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of compliance and consulting for investment partnerships, including hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity funds.
- Expertise in structuring funds and fund management companies to limit tax liability.
- In-depth knowledge of alternative investment strategies and vehicles.
- Proficiency in partnership tax forms.
- Experience with complicated partnership structures and tax matters relevant to the renewable energy industry, such as tax credits and fixed asset depreciation.
- Desire to learn more about the renewable energy industry.
- Innovation through new and existing technologies, experimenting with digitization solutions.
- Experience working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools for client insights.
- Utilization of digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.
- Advancement of pricing strategy through pricing tools and influence on alternative fee arrangements.
- Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement.
- Demonstrated success as a tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships and selling new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.
- In-depth knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Communicating value propositions, managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections.
- Experience as a team leader, supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation, and coaching staff with timely feedback.
Salary Information:
- Salary Range: $124,000 - $335,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
- Actual compensation within the range will depend on individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
