Job Title: Tax Senior Manager - Private Companies

Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager within the department, you will be tasked with providing strategic guidance and leadership to a team focused on serving private companies. Your role will involve offering a range of business advisory services including audit, tax compliance, and planning to enhance operational efficiency and support business strategy. Key responsibilities include:

- Serving as part of a problem-solving team, addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution.
- Encouraging open dialogue and inviting contributions from all team members, including those who may be less vocal.
- Effectively managing ambiguous and unstructured problems, and initiating candid coaching conversations at all levels.
- Balancing big picture thinking with attention to relevant details.
- Anticipating stakeholder needs and developing potential solutions proactively.
- Contributing technical knowledge in your area of specialization.
- Fostering an environment where people and technology work together to achieve more.
- Navigating the complexities of cross-border or diverse teams and engagements.
- Leading open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust.
- Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

You will also be expected to demonstrate leadership in innovation and utilize the right skills and technology to solve problems and provide sustained outcomes for clients. Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 6 year(s)
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Preferred Qualifications:

- Demonstrates intimate-level knowledge and/or a proven record of success in complex tax issues faced by non-publicly traded companies.
- Experience in day-to-day compliance and consulting for a variety of entities.
- Proven ability to identify and address client needs.
- Experience in building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement.
- Proven communication skills to articulate value propositions.
- Proficiency in managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections.
- Experience in preparing or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
- Experience in supervising teams to foster an atmosphere of trust and promote diverse views.
- Proven ability to provide timely, meaningful feedback to staff.
- Demonstrated leadership as a business advisor, including developing new relationships and selling services with a "One Firm" service mindset.
- Experience in innovating through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions.
- Proficiency in using digitization tools to optimize engagements.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $119,300 - $328,000, and individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for the position. Actual compensation will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
