Job Title: Senior Corporate Counsel (REMOTE East Coast)
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Corporate Counsel will provide broad-based, frontline legal support for the company's subsidiary businesses, including Perten, Solus, Covaris, and Project Farma. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing litigation and supporting employment and regulatory matters.
- Overseeing corporate governance and entity management.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of agreements including sales and service agreements, distribution agreements, direct and indirect supply agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Supporting M&A activities as needed and assigned.
- Offering advice and training on compliance programs and policies.
- Partnering with product teams and regional commercial teams to negotiate legal agreements.
- Providing legal assistance to corporate functions such as Human Resources, Finance, and Tax.
- Advising on corporate governance, employment, compliance, privacy, antitrust, quality/regulatory, and advertising/promotional matters.
- Supporting disputes with third parties.
- Managing outside counsel within defined budgets.
- Collaborating with other members of the legal department.
- Performing related duties as assigned or requested.
- Supporting business clients across multiple time zones.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor () degree with 8-12 years of prior experience at a large law firm or corporate legal department is required.
- The candidate must have the ability to effectively negotiate, persuade, and offer creative resolutions to reach mutually acceptable compromise positions.
- Experience with private and public tender contracting processes is required.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills are necessary, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in quickly and effectively identifying and resolving legal issues are required.
- The candidate should be a proven team player with the ability to work across all levels of the organization, including multiple functional and business stakeholders.
- The ability to determine risk exposure and advise the business in a practical manner, balancing legal risks with business needs, is essential.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a clear and concise drafting style.
- The ability to work independently, being energetic and self-motivated.
- The ability to successfully lead projects and establish cohesive, effective cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to respond to business clients’ needs outside of regular business hours.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required.
- Anticipated travel is less than 5%.
Salary Information:
The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $170,000 to $200,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors such as internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
