Job Title: Senior Manager, SALT Income Franchise - Asset Management

Experience: Minimum eight years of recent experience with state income tax compliance for corporations, partnerships, or pass-through entities

Location: Irvine, CA; Los Angeles, CA; San Diego, CA

**Members Only** is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with multi-state companies and provide expert advice on state and local income tax compliance. Your role will also involve building and managing client relationships, mentoring and developing staff, and identifying new marketplace opportunities to grow our tax practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with multi-state companies to ensure compliance with state and local income tax laws
- Provide subject matter expertise and industry knowledge to assist clients in navigating complex tax issues
- Review state income and franchise tax estimated payments and provide guidance as needed
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and supervise, mentor, and develop staff
- Monitor risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets
- Collaborate with other professionals to identify new marketplace opportunities and contribute to the growth of the **Members Only** tax practice

Qualifications:

- Minimum of eight years of recent experience with state income tax compliance for corporations, partnerships, or pass-through entities
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field of study from an accredited college/university
- Licensed CPA, JD/LLM, EA or MTX, in addition to others on **Members Only**'s approved credential listing
- Experience providing services to public companies and a strong understanding of relevant state tax concepts
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a team environment
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
- Excellent writing, communication, and tax compliance skills

Salary Information:

**Members Only** complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. For this position, the salary range for California is $130900 - $284400. Any offered salary will be determined based on relevant factors such as skills, job responsibilities, prior experience, and market considerations.
