Maron Marvel Law Firm is seeking an Appellate Writer - Attorney to join their Wilmington office and support their toxic tort defense team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and a minimum of three years litigation experience, with prior clerkship experience strongly preferred. The Appellate Writer - Attorney will be responsible for assisting with the management of a national docket of toxic tort litigation for a global energy company, as well as drafting appellate briefs in state and federal courts throughout the country. Additionally, this role requires the candidate to perform legal research and draft other memoranda and briefs, including summary judgment and Daubert/Frye motions, with potential for attending depositions, handling court appearances, and assisting with trial. In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess excellent writing and analytical skills, have a minimum of three years litigation experience, with prior toxic tort and/or benzene litigation experienced preferred, but not required. The candidate must also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate the ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
