Job Title: Lead, Transformation Program Management - National Tax

Job Responsibilities:
The Lead, Transformation Program Management role within the Tax Transformation Office involves a comprehensive set of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of tax services delivered by the company. The role requires a working knowledge of professional services and the end-to-end engagement life cycle, focusing on Service Delivery Transformation, which includes people, process, and technology improvements. Key responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with Tax subject matter specialists, technologists, and key stakeholders to manage relationships, track and monitor workstream progress, and ensure timely reporting of milestone and dependency status.
- Managing risks and issues, escalating them to leadership as necessary, and preparing executive-level briefings and reports.
- Executing day-to-day project management activities to support tax transformation across various Business Threads, including tax compliance and advisory client service delivery for Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flowthroughs, Individuals, Estates & Trusts, and Indirect Tax services.
- Developing and managing project workplans, managing scope, ensuring timely delivery of business outcomes, and facilitating formal decision-making.
- Engaging with Tax professionals to understand client service pain points, assess opportunities, and deliver process improvements through business process analysis and modeling.
- Applying agile and design thinking techniques to process analysis and design, decomposing business requirements into functional requirements, and collaborating throughout the technology delivery lifecycle.
- Conducting system testing, facilitating user testing, performing business readiness assessments, and preparing and delivering learning materials.
- Planning deployment activities, providing hypercare support, supporting pilot initiatives, driving adoption through change management and communication, analyzing feedback, developing related action plans, and decommissioning legacy systems.

Education and Experience Information:
The role requires the following qualifications:

- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate 2-3 days per week.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a business or information technology-related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of consulting client experience.
- At least 3 years of experience leading project management teams in a professional services environment, with a focus on strategy implementation, business transformation, and project management.
- Demonstrated understanding of standard system development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Ability to travel 25% -50% a month, based on project work and phase of the delivery cycle.
- One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible: Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, Technology Certifications like Project Management Professional (PMP).

Preferred qualifications include:

- Experience in digital transformation, Smartsheet experience, agile delivery, and design thinking experience.
- Business process analysis and design experience, end-to-end technology project delivery, and training delivery and post-production client-facing support experience.
- A strong focus on deployment, adoption, and driving change.
- Experience in developing a tax technology strategy supporting tax compliance and provision platforms to maximize efficiencies and streamline processes.
- Experience in defining delivery standards, working knowledge of data management and metrics, and experience in a professional environment developing polished presentations, talking points, and content.
- High proficiency in MS Office tools: Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, SharePoint.
- Strong communication skills and a champion of process and technology improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering outstanding quality and meeting established deadlines.
- Process-driven thinking and previous Big 4 experience.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,980 to $169,650. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
