The Manager of Tax Credits & Incentives Advisory will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow **Members Only**'s TCIA Practice. This role will involve managing internal resources, working on IRC Section 41 Research credit engagements, and identifying assets with improper tax lives. The Manager will also work closely with other members of the TCIA and Strategic Financial Services (SFS) teams to expand the firm's services in areas such as accounting methods, energy credits and deductions, and state credits and incentives.

Salary information: The salary range for this position is $96,235 to $197,500.

Responsibilities:

- Develop strategies and action plans to grow **Members Only**'s TCIA Practice
- Manage internal resources and work on IRC Section 41 Research credit engagements
- Identify assets with improper tax lives and assist in separating cost components of buildings
- Calculate the IRC Section 41 Research Credit and understand Controlled Group rules
- Work closely with local and national C/AM team members
- Collaborate with TCIA and SFS teams to expand services in areas such as accounting methods and energy credits
- Speak to tax managers and technical company personnel regarding research credit rules and technical uncertainties
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives
- Utilize excel pivot tables for costing models
- Preference for candidates with experience in accounting methods, including uniform capitalization rules, tangible property regulations, and more.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, technology, or related field
- CPA, MST, MAcc, LLM or JD required
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in federal tax compliance or tax consulting services
- Desire to participate in strategic planning initiatives
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Preference for candidates with experience in accounting methods and excel pivot tables
- Can be located in any of our local offices or work remotely.
