Director, Real Estate Counsel - Join the Global Leader in Logistics Real Estate

Summary:

Prologis, the global leader in logistics real estate, is seeking a Director of Real Estate Counsel to join their North America team. This individual will be responsible for driving complex real estate transactions, strategically balancing legal risk and business objectives. The preferred location for this role is Denver, Colorado, but highly qualified candidates in other listed Prologis market locations will also be considered. The salary range for this position is $167,000 - $208,000, with additional benefits and bonuses based on location, education, and experience.

Responsibilities:

- Draft and negotiate intricate real estate transaction documents, with a focus on acquisitions, dispositions, and ground leasing.
- Structure and lead complex transactions, including deal structuring, title and survey review, and managing in-house paralegals.
- Support and drive legal aspects of data center conversion, power procurement, acquisitions, disposition, and financing.
- Manage outside counsel for land use, entitlements, and zoning matters.
- Work with internal teams to negotiate project-related agreements.
- Lead and manage non-landlord/tenant litigation matters.
- Be adaptable to changing demands and opportunities.

Requirements:

- JD from an accredited law school and a minimum of 10+ years of real estate transactional experience.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and commitment to professionalism.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Independent, self-directed, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and able to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.
- Able to anticipate problems and exercise independent judgment.
- Experience working at a large in-house legal department or at a medium to large law firm.
