Job Responsibilities:
The Associate Attorney in the Family Law Practice is responsible for managing cases related to divorce and family law, including handling the TRO (Temporary Restraining Order) process and procedures. The role requires the candidate to support clients through often challenging and emotionally charged situations, providing legal guidance and representation. The attorney is expected to work closely with clients to understand their needs and advocate on their behalf in legal proceedings. The job involves drafting legal documents, filing motions, and representing clients in court. Additionally, the attorney should be prepared to work collaboratively within the department to ensure the best outcomes for clients, leveraging the supportive atmosphere and resources of the law firm.
Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a valid Bar license, indicating that the candidate must have completed a law degree and passed the bar examination in the relevant jurisdiction. While specific years of experience are not mandated, a motivated passion for and/or experience in divorce/family law is highly desirable. Proficiency in Asian languages is considered a plus, though not mandatory. The candidate should possess strong writing skills, necessary for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Salary Information:
The salary for the Associate Attorney position ranges from $60,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
