Job Title: Law Fellow
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop legal expertise in areas such as housing, labor and employment, environmental justice, education, and health.
- Work on equitable school funding to close the opportunity gap for high-needs students, including low-income, English Learners, and foster students.
- Implement CRLA’s statewide approach to ensure local districts meet obligations for equal access to education.
- Engage in community education and outreach strategies.
- Develop local leadership and monitor school districts and county offices of education.
- File administrative complaints and possibly engage in regulatory proceedings.
- Be involved in impact litigation challenging state and local failures to comply with statutory and constitutional mandates for equal educational opportunity.
Education and Experience Information:
